Clark checked in at 6:00am and they wheeled him back to the OR at 6:30. I have a text pager for the docs / nurses to contact me. In addition, there is a large screen that will let me know when the procedure begins and basic update throughout the day. I will post updates as comments as my touch prefers this method. Megan...thanks for the updates. It think it is great that you are kept in the loop. Gone of the days sitting around the waiting room wonder what is going on. I am so happy that Clark chose to have surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He can be surrounded by his family to lend support and pass the time. No doubt this will help a speedy recovery.
Joseph and Ethan just said a very nice prayer for Clark. It was so heartfelt and given whilst in pajamas, so I think those prayers are the strongest! It's sunny and real quiet - tranquil - and we feel strongly that things are going well at this moment in the operating room.
I have been praying throughout the morning as God has been bringing you to my thoughts. I woke up several different times throughout the early morning and would pray before I would go back to sleep for a while. We prayed as a family last night for a successful surgery and again this morning. We have asked several friends to pray for the surgery also. It is good to hear that things are going well.
